While all of our recent guests gave us glowing reviews (many of which we will share with you as we morph our blog into a full, interactive website by month’s end), we’re determined to keep improving the Bed and Office experience.

- Network attached laser printing (a great addition to our free, ubiquitous wi-fi)
- New Philips surround-sound home entertainment system
- Deluxe packages including airport pick-up and round-trip shuttles to the Strip and/or convention centers
All of these should be in place before NATPE (where all the rooms are sold out at host hotel Mandalay Bay as of two weeks ago), our next major trade show in town — other than World of Concrete , and we don’t have that many contacts in the concrete industry, but we do have many friends and clients in the TV field)

Well, we survived our grand opening. Four guest out of the five rooms, so an 80 percent occupancy for the opening show isn’t all that bad. We would have had 100 percent, but we had a late cancellation — I guess that’s something we’re going to have to get used to in this industry — or start demanding noncancellable reservations during large trade shows. The truth is we just wanted to get people in, make them happy and not put up a lot of obstacles for our opening — as time rolls on, we’ll have more formalized procedures.
I’ve had a long few weeks putting all the finishing touches on the house – and these are not the FINAL pictures, but they’ll give you a little bit of an idea of how well it’s been coming along. The full website should be up in a few weeks.
